FAQs

Yes and No.

Each Revive event will be streamed from an on-site location that you can sign up to attend in person. However, Revive 2020 has been designed so that distance, seating capacity, and safety won’t keep you from participating.

There are four ways to attend Revive 2020:

  1. Attend Revive in person at a Revive Hub.
  2. Attend Revive by hosting or attending a Watch Party
  3. Stream Revive services live in your home.
  4. Register for an on-site event in your area.

What is a Hub?

A Revive Hub is a church-sponsored location in the diocese hosting an in person livestream-viewing gathering for Revive 2020. The number of seats available at each Hub will depend on their Covid safety guidelines.

Each Revive Hub will communicate with you directly about on-site safety protocols and other information including arrival time, entrance guidelines, mask requirements, etc. Each Revive Hub will also have an on-site host to lead you through the day’s events.

What is a  Watch Party?

A Watch Party is an informal in-home or online event hosted by anyone in the diocese. There are two ways to host a Watch Party.

IN PERSON —Gather with your small group, quarantine bubble, or church leadership team to participate in Revive together. Set up the livestream on your best screen and speaker and invite folks to join you at your home. Following the livestream, share what was meaningful for you and pray for one another. It may help everyone feel comfortable to be clear ahead of time about COVID precautions you will be following (masks, social distancing, etc.)

ONLINE — Can’t meet in person? Host Watch Party online via Facebook or launch a group chat or video call as you watch so you can participate in community during Revive livesteams. Invite your small group, ministry team, church, or friends ahead of time. If possible, share what was meaningful for you and pray for one another following the livestream

Can anyone host a watch party?

Yes! It is our hope that many of you will open your homes for your friends or small groups to gather and be part of Revive this year. We are the Church and we all need to be in fellowship with other believers—what a great opportunity to experience Revive together with friends and family.  If this is something you would like to do and want to open your Watch Party to others in your area through this website, please send your name, the city and state of your Watch Party, and your contact information to office@midwestanglican.org.

Of course, you’re also welcome to host a Watch Party for your friends and family without listing anything on the website. However, we would love to know about your Watch Party so Revive leaders can give a shout out to each location! Simply send an email with your Watch Party name, city and state to office@midwestanglican.org.

While there are still expenses associated with running the Revive Conference this year, we are not charging a registration fee. Instead we are asking you to consider giving an optional, non-tax deductible donation to help off-set these expenses.

Registration is required if you would like to physically attend one of the Revive On-site Events or you would like to attend at a Revive Hub location. Simply click on your preferred Revive Hub location and follow the instructions to register.

If you’re going to participate in Revive at a Watch Party or at home that does not require any sign-ups, then no registration is required.

Children and youth are always welcome to attend! To attend an On-site Event or one of our Revive Hub locations, please register children and youth when you register yourself. Anyone under the age of 18 must attend with an adult.

We especially want to invite our youth to stream the Thursday Leaders and Artists Day and hear more about the Upper Midwest Diocese’s vision for our next generation of leaders and artists.

Unfortunately due to Covid realities, we are not able to host Revive Kids Camp this year. We so hope Revive Kids Camp will be back in October 2021!
