Come ready for a night of worship with times of teaching, testimonies, intercessory prayer, and Eucharist.
This year Revive will take place only on Friday night, but the primary focus remains. We will worship and pray together before the Lord. We will hear testimonies from leaders about how the Lord is moving in the Upper Midwest. Perhaps the Lord will use Revive Night to spark a new ministry idea, or ignite the call for a new church planter. One thing is guaranteed–we will meet the Lord in the beauty of his holiness.
After much prayer and consultation with leaders across the Diocese and the Standing Committee, we have made the difficult decision to reduce the length of Revive this year, largely due to the significant demands of the Province’s ecclesiastical trial that was rescheduled for October.
This year marks the Diocese’s eighth annual October gathering! Since 2014 and our first event, the Revive vision has continued to be: a time set apart in the Lord for worship, prayer, and equipping the saints for ministry. As people from within and outside of the Upper Midwest come together, an “event” has turned into a much loved diocesan family reunion. Friends who met at previous Revives reconnect and new friendships develop; all because time and space were set apart to worship and pray, to be equipped for kingdom ministry, to grasp what it means to be a Diocese--part of the body of Christ.
Any diocesean congregant who wants to enjoy a time of communal worship, prayer, teaching, and testimonies should join us!
No need to register or pay; just come to join us in worship and prayer as a Diocese!
A bible, journal, pen, & water (if you want one)!
We have a block of discounted rooms available at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Carol Stream, about 5 min drive from Church of the Resurrection.
Reservations must be made before October 2 to receive a discount. To access the discounted rate ($129/night + tax) please use the code, DOT, online or when booking via phone. There are also a number of other hotel options within a 15 minute drive of the church.
Children are welcome to come, however there will not be any childcare available so we ask that children who come stay with their families in the service.
